CONTACT, Contact Electrical Wholesale LTD is delighted to sponsor the Boldmere Falcons Sports U13 football team for the 2011/12 season.
Giving back to the community of Birmingham is of great importance to Contact and there is no better way to do this than helping out a group of great kids.
Boldmere falcons is a Charter Standard Football club with over 30 teams of Boys and Girls based in Sutton Coldfield. They were first established in 1974 as the Falcon Lodge Colts. Boldmere falcons have been together since U8 and have won the U9 championship. The team made the move to a new league last season and will be playing in the Central Warwick’s League. It is of great importance for Contact to support and sponsor the new football strip to help foster participation in the U13 team sports and personal development.
Boldmere Falcons will be able to begin the new season on a modernised pitch with the team coaches and supporters looking forward to providing the local boys and girls with programs designed to help encourage team building skills and personal enjoyment in their favourite sport.
Contact has a history of helping out our young people. Just recently Contact Electrical Wholesale sponsored and awarded special prizes to three students at South Birmingham College. Contact believes in helping our youth in achieving their goals and working towards their future.
Contact wishes Boldmere Falcons Sports U13 team a very successful season.
Birmingham riots.
In the aftermath of the Birmingham riots Contact played an active role providing support and products to local businesses. The riots left many businesses and locals throughout Birmingham with property damage and in some cases loss of life. It was important for everyone to help out where able.
Contact Electrical Wholesale helped local businesses by offering a fast responsive service and providing materials to rebuild the damage they sustained in the riots. By working directly with the local businesses Contact was able to provide what they needed in a more timely fashion. Beyond providing equipment to do the repairs the company was able to provided a reliable and out of hours service to enable local businesses to get safe, secure and back in business.
Contact recognise the support they have received from the local Birmingham community and saw it as their chance to give something back to the local community for all the support they have received.
