Calibration & Trade Show 2011

which occurred on the 16th June 2011 was a great success and although the show only lasted one day, it attracted over 150 people and carried out in excess of 100 Tester Calibrations !

The Contact Electrical Wholesale Calibration & Trade Show

Among the exhibitors were companies such as NVC Lighting, Aurora, Crabtree, Bosch, Dewalt, Orbik, Napit and Kewtech whom all said they had a fantastic day, there was a great buzz about the show and they were all kept busy throughout the day...... To say the least, it was a lively trade show.

NAPIT said they had great interest in there Competent Persons scheme with several contractors signing up to there scheme.

LED and low energy lighting was a hot topic amongst a few of the exhibitors and by using this type of product since the trade day, CONTACT have carried out several site energy surveys in view of reducing the end users energy consumption.

The Calibration & Trade Show managed to create a friendly atmosphere, which made exchanging ideas very easy for the visitors both between themselves and CONTACT and the other exhibitors. Topics concerning PV, Renewable energies, electrical equipment, governing rules and even job opportunities were heard. We discovered that in tough times people really pull together.

Hot Air Balloon Prize Draw

The highlight for many was the Free Prize draw for a Hot Air Balloon Flight for two which was sponsored by KEWTECH Test Equipment... The lucky winner was Ian Carwardine Operations Director of Webb's Power Tools Equipment Hire and Sales CONGRATULATIONS!
