After an enduring year of hard work and study, students at South Birmingham College’s Construction Campus in Bordesley Green, studying Electrical Installation are celebrating after receiving awards for all their hard work. The event was well attended by many students in anticipation of receiving these prestigious awards.
Due to the diligence of the students work over the year, college staff were so impressed that the entire class were invited along to the awards evening! For their sheer level of commitment and enthusiasm shown throughout the academic year, all students were given a gift of a tool bag or a set of screwdrivers.
South Birmingham's College Director for Construction Bob Howlett said: “The students have been very successful and we’re all very proud of them.”
Rob Kendrick of Contact Electrical Wholesale sponsored and awarded special prizes to three outstanding students; Jack Cashmore who won Outstanding student of the Year, Imran Kola who won Level 3 student of the Year and Hussein Sharif who won Level 2 student of the year.
