Fire Alarm Log Book FAB/162

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to all premises other than a domestic dwelling.  A record of testing for the fire alarm must be kept as one of the essential documents demanded by this law.  Regular servicing and maintenance must be carried out and recorded too.  Failure to keep a record of the fire alarm tests and maintenance is a criminal offence on the part of the individual responsible, normally the manager.
