A lighting control system is an intelligent network-based lighting control solution that incorporates communication between various system inputs and outputs related to lighting control with the use of one or more central computing devices. Lighting control systems are widely used on both indoor and outdoor lighting of commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Lighting control systems serve to provide the right amount of light where and when it is needed.
Lighting control systems are employed to maximize the energy savings from the lighting system, satisfy building codes, or comply with green building and energy conservation programs. Lighting control systems are often referred to under the term Smart Lighting.

LED lights have been hailed as the future of home lighting. LED lighting and LED Lamps use very little energy, last a very long time and, unlike regular energy-saving bulbs, they are instantly bright when switched on. Led
LED lighting contains LED lamps which differs from traditional incandescent lamps in the way they produce light. While old-fashioned incandescent lamps passed electricity through a filament, LED Lamps produce light through the use of a semiconductor that emits light energy when an electrical current is passed through it.

Fluorescent lamps or fluorescent tubes are low pressure mercury-vapor gas-discharge lamps that uses fluorescence to produce visible light. An electric current in the gas excites mercury vapor which produces short-wave ultraviolet light that then causes a phosphor coating on the inside of the bulb to glow.
They convert electrical energy into useful light much more efficiently than incandescent lamps. The luminous efficacy of fluorescent light bulbs can exceed 100 lumens per watt, several times the efficacy of an incandescent bulb with comparable light output.
We have a wide variety of fluorescent lamps available. It is important that you choose the right fluorescent lamp for your fitting and purpose. We are here to make sure you get the right fluorescent lamp that you require.

A metal-halide lamp is an electric lamp that produces light by an electric arc through a gaseous mixture of vaporized mercury and metal halides (compounds of metals with bromine or iodine). It is a type of high-intensity discharge (HID), gas discharge lamp.
Halide lamps consist of small fused quartz or ceramic arc tube which contains the gases and the arc, enclosed inside a larger glass bulb which has a coating to filter out the ultraviolet light produced. Halide lamps operate at a pressure between 4 to 20 atms, and require special fixtures to operate safely, as well as an electrical ballast. Metal atoms produce most of the light output. Halide lamps require a warm-up period of several minutes to reach full light output.
Lamp disposal service available.
Contact Electrical offer an environmentally friendly lamp disposal service for customers purchasing new halide lamps. Ask about lamp disposal when you talk to us.

In the electrical wiring of buildings, a cable tray system is used to support insulated electric cables used for power distribution and communication. Cable trays are used as an alternative to open wiring or electrical conduit systems and are commonly used for cable management in commercial and industrial construction. They are especially useful in situations where changes to a wiring system are anticipated, since new cables can be installed by laying them in the tray, instead of pulling them through a pipe.
